I'm getting a car today.
I'm getting a
2006 Saturn Ion" on lease. I don't know what color it'll be. It depends on what's available. I really don't car, though. As long it runs. I've been waiting to get my own car for so long.
And now I can break the monotony of my life and go places! And take photos at places that aren't around my house!
This is a cause for celebration.
But. I hate my camera. The picture quality is so shitty. So, once I get a job to pay for gas and such, I'm saving up for a Canon Eos 20D. Yes, that's right. That's right.
With a 50mm f/1.4 USM standard lense. Yes, it's an expensive investment, but the thing is that they are the best of the best of what I need, and why get cruddier stuff if I will have to spend more money in the end? That's how I see it.
While waiting to see if the University of Michigan Ann Arbor accepted me (to get a degree in Japanese
) and current schoolwork, photography is my ultimate release of stress.
Photography, Silent Hill, music, and dark horror stuff makes life not shitty.
I'm so lonely. Sigh. Because I don't make the /effort/ to talk to people. Madonna is boring and feels like high school, and so far I haven't met anybody that's interesting. The University of Michigan....fuck, I have to get in. It means so much to me. It's the perfect school for me: the perfect atmosphere, a great Asians studies program, it has an infinate amount of opportunities...
But while I wait, I have schoolwork to do and hobbies that are hard to pursue when you don't have a job and/or car. So, those two are coming soon, and I can open my horizons. I'd like to have a friend or friends to go places with, to take photographs with, to have /fun/ with... Heather ditched me and won't speak to me. I have no clue why. So, I have to find other people that aren't disfunctional. Oh, pfft. That's impossible. I can't help but make good friends with people that are psychotic like me.
I want some photo buddies though.
Any suggestions how to make some around here?
